    With this Mac, it has happened about 3 times. About a week ago, I Archived and Installed and this is the first Kernel Panic that I got since then.

    Um, really, only my MagSafe plug. No peripherals.

    Not sure what to tell you ... do you have Applecare? You can call them, or take it to the Apple Store.

    My Mac is still in its first year, but do really think it is necessary? Should I give it one more chance?

    It's up to you. It would bother me, but then I'm in a different position than you, with different priorities.
