Hi could anyone work out what this kernel panic report is saying?

i believe it is the Motu sound card but i could be wrong. Anyone who knows how to read these reports could point me in the direction of the fault. Or is it the processor?

You'll always get those in a KP..

The kext in backtrace is generally the problem. Do you get them without the audio gear attached.

No only when i turn on my sound card and then load up logic.

Its always been a problem. but now i get kernel panics.
Originally when booting up my mac, id switch on the sound card and the mac wouldn't boot up till the sound card was off. Also if i pull out a usb device the soundcard would lock up my mac.

I think its a compatible issue.

I'm looking more into it now.

That last loaded kext business is always a big tipoff and the first thing I would look into. Delete those kext drivers and see if the problem goes away. Maybe the vendor has updated drivers?

Hi guys I've sussed it :)

Ive updated the drivers and firmware. But it the issue was my sound card going through a USB hub. I don't think the USB hub could handle the data speed of the sound card.

The Kernal panics have stopped since i fixed a corrupted hard drive. Disk Utility fixed it. I think the drivers played havoc until i fixed the drive.

    Thanks for all the feedback.
