Key?

    Hmm what does the ⌧ key actually do on the new (wired) aluminum keyboards? I have this key and it's been sitting here since time began, but it's not actually doing anything...

    What's it for?

    No...

    Not the command key.

    It's a key with a square with an X through it on the top left of the num pad.

    Just under the F16 key and next to the = sign.

    I dunno about UK keyboards, but on a US layout that's where the "clear" key would be. Seems like the symbol used might indicate the same.

    Press it and come back and a) tell us what happened b) start a new thread about your computer exploding or something crazy like that after pressing said key.

    I think it is a Clear key, at least that is what is on my alum. keyboard
