Keyboard Backlight question

I'm aware the lighting on the keyboards is white. I assume this is done with LEDs? Has anyone attempted to change the color of the LEDs to something other than white? How difficult was this to do? etc etc?

it is doable but you need to remove lots of tiny screws and different kind of sheets. It should work or may ruin your keyboard if not done well.

Changing the color would be great. I'd like to see a black light keyboard.
