Keyboard blank and then appears in Messages??

Anybody else having this issue? Really starting to bother me- when get a text and click on it, my keyboard is completely white with no keys showing, and then after about 2 seconds everything appears normally. This doesn't happen every time, maybe about 1 out of 5 times clicking on a text, but enough to make it very annoying.

Anybody else experiencing this? Wondering if this is a software issue, some kind of phone glitch, or what?

This is on a 6s Plus btw

Similar thing I have, is when I open the Messages app on a conversation the text input line takes 2 seconds to appear. I think that's intentional but on my iPad is just doesn't appear at all 95% of the time and I've had to open messages in slide over from other apps in order to send a message.

Is it worth getting the phone replaced or do people think this has to be a software issue?
