What is the best procedure to change a US -keyboarded Macbook Pro and Macbook to a UK layout? (In the UK)

Purchase a US keyboard, somewhere like ebay

remove the upper case and from there you have access to the keyboard. Im pretty sure the top case is standard on all mbps regardless of keyboard layout.

Take it to an Apple Store to legitimately keep the warranty.

or you can DIY very carefully to make it look like it came with the US keyboard.
