Keyboard for the new iPad Pro 11 inch

Which keyboards are compatible with the newest iPad Pro 11 inch? Apple’s website is very confusing on this point. For example, the magic keyboard is compatible with:

iPad Pro 12.9‑inch (3rd and 4th generation)
iPad Pro 11‑inch (1st and 2nd generation)

Are the various sizes of the iPad Pro on different generations? So the latest 11 inch is 2nd gen, and the latest 12.9 is 4th gen?

Is the latest folio keyboard compatible with the new 11 inch? Apple’s phone support said it wasn’t, but the website says it works with the 2nd gen 11 inch.

I ordered the latest iPad Pro 11 inch, but nowhere in the order does it say which generation it is.

Yes so the 12.9 is now on gen 4 while the 11-inch is in fact on gen 2. There is the regular keyboard folio and then the magic keyboard that is compatible with both gens of 11 inch ipad.
