I just bought a new 13" MacBook Pro. My keyboard illumination has been working fine until now. I know that whenever it sense low light it'll come on, but there also buttons to adjust the brightness, and when I try to press them to make them come on, they dont, and it shows a little blocking symbol. Can anybody tell me how to fix it? Cause I know it will come on even in the daylight. Much help appreciated!

It's not really a problem. If it senses that the backlight will help, you would be able to adjust the lighting with the F6 and F7 keys. Alternatively, you can go into Keyboard and Mouse in System Preferences and click on the illuminate...option under keyboard.

put your finger next to the left side of the camera and try to adjust it if it works then there is too much ambient light for them to come on
