Keyboard lag when quickly replying in messages app.

Just as the title says, is this a JUST ME issue or is anyone else experiencing this? It happens if I am bouncing between conversations, when I go to start typing nothing types for about 2-3 seconds but then catches up. I am on iPhone 11 Pro.

Would you please direct me to the existing discussion? I am having this issue (2-3 second pause for the phone to "catch up" after I first enter the Messages app and begin typing). I looked through all the posts in this forum w/"Messages" in the title... thx

Yep exact same problem here. only started a few days ago.

Me too! It's weird that it didn't start right after the initial update.

Same here! Had no issues for several weeks and then all of a sudden it started today.

Did you guys happen to update watchOS recently? (I just did the other day, and wondered if that was somehow related.) That's assuming you have Apple Watch, of course...

Yes I did, but I didn’t have any issues after the update Monday or yesterday. My fiancée was complaining about the delay last week and I thought she was crazy. 🤣

Seems to be happening a lot more and more the past week or so. iOS 14.0.1
