Keyboard noise - simple question

I know there are lots of threads on here about the bloody annoying noise of the MacBook Pro 2017 keyboard. I've just purchased one, and wasn't aware of this issue until I took it home and unpacked it.

I'm in a massive hurry - basically only have one day to return and exchange before leaving the country for a bit and missing my returns window. I can't handle this keyboard noises even on the off chance that "it will get better in a few months" or my "typing style will change".

Please can somebody tell me which is the most recent MacBook model that does NOT have this issue.

I don't even care about the computer spec at the moment anymore. I just simply can't take this noisy one into conferences/meetings etc.

I'm used to my wonderful MBP mid 2009 model - nice and quiet

If you have just purchased it I am assuming it's a 2018 model although you mention the 2017 model so perhaps you bought a 2017 model on the second hand market.

Apple made the 2018 keyboard quieter than the 2016 and 2017 so if you don't like the sound of those keyboards the latest model without that style of keyboard is the 2015 MBP.

The keyboard on my 2018 MBPro 15” is good for me. No issues, but that does not mean it would be for you. It is not completely silent, I have never used a keyboard that was.

Thanks all of you. PhilMacbook - I bought it new but it is the 2017 version (MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports). I couldn't stretch to the new 2018 model, but now I know one of the reasons the new model is better!
Tomorrow is my one opportunity to head back in to the Mac store. I'll try out the 2015 and the 2018, and make a change. Thanks all of you for your input.

I kept mine for 4 weeks (holidays have a longer return policy), and made that video during week 4! I didn't notice it get quieter at all
