Keyboard Problems - New Bluetooth Keyboard

Installed a new bluetooth keyboard today.

Now my volune controls and other features on the F1 - F12 Keys do not work.

Went into Keyboard Preferences and selected and deselected the ...

[ ] Use All F1, F2, F3 keys as standard function keys.

Regardless of the setting, the volume controls do not work.

Even when holding down the [Fn] Key

I can adjust volume with the mouse ( new Magic Mouse ) using the control on the menu bar.

ANy ideas ????

Looked through Keyboard Shortcuts and could not find any for Volume

Was able to assign F1 and F2 as Screen Intensity though.
