keyboard program for mac

I remember reading about some software that allows you to control more than one Mac using a single keyboard. Is it possible to do this but between a Mac and a PC?

Are you talking about Synergy? If so, the answer is yes -- it works on Windows, OS X, and at least some Unix/esque platforms.
