I find myself to be in a not so good situation. They spacebar (moreso than my other keys) has been acting up over the past week. It got to the point where the left hand side of the spacebar became very loose and wouldn’t click at all.
I, stupidly, thought that something was stuck under it so i lifted it and it came off (almost too easily). I have taken off keys from other laptops in the past so at first i didn’t think too much of it.
However, now i’m in a pickle because i am totally unable to put the space bar back on and in trying to put to do so a few of the white tabs on the bottom part of the space bar have now come off.
I am aware that there is a keyboard replacement program going on and I am wondering whether this will be covered? I’ve had issues with this awful keyboard since i first bought this macbook in november.
What do you guys think? will i be able to get it replaced for free??
