Trepex macrumors 6502a Original poster Jun 18, 2007 #1 So from what OSX is telling me, there is no way to assign a keyboard shortcut to open an app, huh? I'd love to have a shortcut key to pop open a terminal window like I can do in linux (gnome). Is there no easy way to accomplish this?

I highly agree, and second this option. Give Quicksilver a chance and change your Mac experience for forever.
