Keyboard sound goes missing?

Been on iOS and honestly it's been extremely stable outside of some apps crashing but that's to be expected.

The most annoying bug to me is the keyboard click sound, even when my 15 Pro isn't on silent/vibrate mode sometimes I don't hear it anymore or it's barely noticeable.

Is anyone else having this issue? If so, what did you do to resolve it issue if possible?

Mine personally has seemed quieter since I downloaded the beta, some times quieter more then others.

I forgot the keyboard can have sound. Turned that off when it was first rolled out years ago.

That said, I just tested it, and my 15 Pro Max will happily make all kinds of noise when I type on the keyboard if I have that option enabled in dev beta 1 and have silent mode disabled.

11Pro - turned keyboard sound just to test it, really seems to be quiet compared to what it was somewhere at iOS 15-16… and it works only if Silent Mode is off. Was this the same behavior before?

iOS 18 b2 hasn't fixed this issue, I did submit this as feedback and I'd suggest you guys do too to resolve it going forward.

After some testing it looks like iOS 18 Beta 3 has resolved this issue! About time!
