keyboard stopped working with calculator

Last week my keyboard (Logitech MX Keys, but also my M2 MacBook Air's built-in keyboard) stopped working with the Mac's calculator. It's not just the number pad, but the entire keyboard. I cannot type in any numbers into the calculator, even using the number keys above the letter keys.

All number keys (even the number pad) work fine in Excel, mail, Safari, etc, just not using the calculator. They also work fine when using the same keyboard on my work Windows laptop. I don't see any obvious settings that I can change. Any ideas on how to fix this?

In the meantime, for quick number crunching like work hours, I've been using arbeitszeitrechnerprofi.de—works great in browser.

Hey, that glitch sounds maddening—I've had keyboard quirks on Sequoia too. Quick try: Reset SMC (unplug power 15 sec, plug back, wait 5 sec, power on) or update macOS if pending. If it's persistent, reinstall Calculator via App Store. What macOS version are you on? Fingers crossed!
