So, I just got myself a Griffin iMate ADB to USB adaptor so that I can use my old Apple Extended Keyboard 2. I love the keyboard and setup (its plugged into my macbook with a new 24'' display. The new display doesn't allow brightness to be changed by the f14 and f15 keys, so I was trying to figure out how to make them change the system output volume up and down instead like the macbook keyboard does. Easiest way to do this? I'm sure there is a simple way to reconfigure keys but I am not finding it. Thanks for the help!!

I assume you have opened system preferences selected keyboard and ensured "use all f1 f2 etc keys as standard function keys" is unchecked?

For a more advanced solution try this :)

hope it helps ... not sure how it could be done without editing the plist.
