so my windows shutter flew off its frame and hit a portable tv on a little shelf I had that was on my table, and it flew and hit my keyboard.

So, to make a long story short, how or how much will it take to fix they key.

It's the C key and it still works, but from what I can tell the clips that were on the C key broke off, so my assumption is just replace it?

well, no matter what keyboard, that generally is the case...but if it's your powerbook, replacement keys may be hard to come across. you could go ask at apple stores (maybe?), or look online, or find anyone who has a similar keyboard on a powerbook they dont use and just replace the key.

last resort - just use some glue or tape. unfortunately it's a rather common key, but its better than having it fall off and not be there.
