So far I'm finding Keychain to be more trouble than it is worth.

  1. Keychain offers a generated password on some sites, then doesn't save it. (e.g. MacRumors, NewsBlur)
  2. Keychain fails to recognize some fields as password fields. That's fine, I can create my own. But manually entered passwords typed into Keychain aren't synced to other devices.
  3. There's no way to view the keychain on iOS devices - outside of the Safari saved passwords. (related to #2 above)
  4. Changing passwords for Facebook and Twitter work online - but Mavericks can't validate the new passwords in the Internet Accounts settings page.

1 and 2 are both design issues with the web sites. Many sites save the PW in a cookie and are not setup to work properly with password saving apps.

I completely agree, I was really looking forward to this feature but after trying it out today I am pretty disappointed. Hopefully it will improve with an update sometime soon.

Keychain is excellent, I've been using it for years.

However... Like all other software you benefit greatly from _learning_ how to use it.
