My issue is this: I have Keychain enabled on my iPhone, iPad, Macbook and Mac mini at home. I tether via Personal Hotspot from my Macbook to my iPhone when I'm out. But then when I get home and plug my iPhone via USB to my Mac mini to sync, it tethers to my phone as well and starts using my cellular data even though its connected to my home internet connection. There needs ot be a way to disable that on one machine and not another, without turning off Keychain.

Am I the only one?

Same issue here and as much as I would like to use Keychain sync, I have it off for this very reason. I don't want to sync wifi passwords because it causes the problem you mentioned.
