Keychain not working on Mac

I have noticed both with my 2012 iMac and 2018 Mac mini that my keychain passwords for websites isn’t syncing or even coming up when I go to add passwords on my Mac even though it works fine for all my iPhones and iPads.

I have the box checked in preferences/system settings on the Mac but that isn’t helping. My photos and emails and other stuff syncs fine between devices.

Any idea what I’m missing??
