New to Keynote here, using Keynote '08.

I have a presentation where each slide has about 3 bullet points. I have each set up so that each bullet appears "on click" so that each only appears when I click "next." This is great, but after each bullet I would like to show a different slide. Let me see if I can explain it:

Let Slide A be the slide with 3 bullet points. I would like to:
-Show Slide A with 1st bullet
-Then, cut to Slide B which explains 1st bullet
-Then, Show Slide A again with 1st and 2nd bullet
-Then, cut to Slide C which explains 2nd bullet.
-etc...

I know I can do it by creating different versions of Slide A, with Slide B and C in between those versions. However, I am hoping for a more elegant solution. Your insight is appreciated!

Create hyperlinks.
Highlight the text of the bullet, open the inspector, enable text as hyperlink, link to slide X. You will also have to create a link back to the bullet slide from slide X.

That said, the best solution, to my mind, remains the solution you already mentioned.
