Keynote: adding controller to embedded quicktime movie

I've tried embedding a Quicktime movie - which I exported from Quicktime Pro with controller settings - into a Keynote slide. My problem is when I import the movie into the slide, the controls disappear from the original movie. Is there a way to be able to play, rewind and pause an embedded Quicktime movie from within a Keynote slide? Why do the controls from the original movie disappear when imported into Keynote?
 
I don't know about the controller settings from Quicktime Pro, but Keynote does provide some playback controls in the Inspector, which might suit your purposes. Have you looked at those?
