Keynote Animation Help

So I'm really frustrated here...trying to work out how to edit some shapes *after* a build animation. I want to align the red line with timeline in its second animation position, but every time I view the completed animation and then go to move the red line into position by selecting it, second position of the timeline disappears, so I don't know where to place the red line!

Yes but seems long winded...its a basic thing I'm trying to do, right?
