I am gonna say... "no"

Woof, Woof - Dawg

It would be quite the buzz builder, but I don't see that happening.

Clearly the following image

was taken from this image and has just been enhanced.

It's all clear now.

The first image is from a rumour predating the actual release if you don't catch my cheap sarcasm.
And in the second image that indent looks more like the home button.

It's like a clue, a fingerprint left behind, for us to discover the secrets of the hidden camera.

The 3Gen iPod touch has a spot for a camera on the board as well. It's possible they were going to include a camera and ditched it, or they still aren't sure.

I just looked at the keynote again and I couldn't see that little gray dot at all. I'm going to assume this is a fake, an easy one at that.

I think that cut-out in the bolt-down bezel in the pre-release image is just so it can go either way around in the bezel and the home button still work.

I've watched the keynote zoomed in and it looks more like the light sensor like the iPhones.

if there was a camera in it, wouldn't the press have noticed it after the keynote when they got to play with one... or at least have noted there was a hole there

For it to have a camera they would have to advertise it with one for FCC regulations.

no...no they dont...

they only have to advertise it if there selling it....since there not yet selling it...then they dont have to mention jack.

The backside of the model that is bolted together also had a grey patch for the 3G antenna on the back, instead of the black. So clearly there were a few versions of working iPads around that we haven't seen, as if one had a camera I guess we'll wait and see.

I'm gunna say a big no on this. There are plenty of similar looking marks all over that iPad, but the one with the arrow happens to be approx. where you would expect to find a camera. Why would it only show up once, they used the same iPad throughout the keynote didn't they?
