Keynote or Pages for iPad?

Your resume will come out a little funkier in Keynote (a presentation slideshow application) than in Pages (the word processor).

It very much depends on what you want to do with the apps

Keynote is a slide / presentation app. You probably want pages if you write more than bullet points.

Then pages is probably the one for you, essentially it's Apple's version of MS Word. Keynote is for making presentations and that sort of stuff just like MS PowerPoint.

Pages is what you want.

Its $10, which is on the expensive side for iPad apps. But it does most of what most people want a word processor to do.

Just buy Pages, that's what it's for.

Keynote is for making slideshows, which has already been pointed out.
