I'm posting lyrics up on a projector screen for church and I have keynote. I wanted to know if there was a way to split the screen to see something different than what the projector is showing, so that I don't have to guess which verse comes next in keynote, I can just see it on my computer and click it and project it onto the screen. Hoping that made sense! :D

If you go into Keynote's View Menu and select "Show Presenter Notes", you can type in what you want in an area under the slide.

For the slideshow, assuming you have a computer screen and the projector screen, go into System Preferences>Displays and make sure that "Mirror Displays" is not ticked.

Go into Keynote Preferences>Slideshow and select "Present on Secondary/Alternate Display". In the Presenter Display tab, tick "Use alternate display to view presenter information" and "Show: Notes".

To view the Presenter Notes during a slideshow, it must be ticked in the View Menu.
