Is anybody using Apple Watch to control Keynote presentations? How is it working for you?

I tried, but it's a hit or miss. 9/10 the Keynote app crashes. Paired with 6s Plus. When it works, it's actually pretty great. But inconsistency is a deal breaker. When doing lectures it just has to work flawlessly.

I have been having this problem since the 2.2 update. Before it worked flawlessly. I've been waiting for a fix from Apple.

I just tried it too. I've used it once or twice many, many moons ago. Today, crashes every time. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app from the watch. No help. Haven't had a chance to try rebooting the watch and/or phone.

Controlling a Keynote on my iPad with the phone, however, works just fine.

I'm having the same issue. I've frequently used the watch to control presentations in the past, but it just won't load today.

For what its worth (probably nothing), I filed a bug report with Apple on the watch feedback page.

Same here. It seems as it's global, only not many people use this combination (Keynote on iPhone and remote on the Watch). To be honest, I often get "No, this isn't going to work!" remarks, when I say I want to connect the phone to the projector or TV.

Crashing on my Watch too. Have you discovered any workarounds? I have provided feedback to Apple as well, hopefully it will be fixed in the next release…
