Keynote to Powerpoint

Hi guys I'm tempted to buy the keynote app from the store but is it just like pages where you can copy it as a .doc and have on Microsoft word. Can you just upload it from itunes to Microsoft PowerPoint and are all slides txt and images all ok and compatible? Any help much apretiated. Cheers
 
You can save a Keynote presentation to Powerpoint but Powerpoint doesn't preserve the nice shadowing of the text. It was such a disappointing experience that I ended up saving it as a Quicktime presentation to play on PCs. I would just stick with Powerpoint for the Mac and stay away from Keynote if you need it to save to Powerpoint.
 
will it be ok with just basic power points tho e.g plain backgrounds moving text pictures ect?
