Keypad?

Does anybody think that apple will someday release an iphone with a slide out keypad for texting or are they so in love with touch screen virtual keyboards that that will never happen?

Apple filed some patents a while back that will allow touch capacity screens to give tactile feedback - it is logical to assume they're going to push touch technology to the point that it surpasses physical buttons.
