Whatever you do, DON'T use lighter fluid. Many folks use lighter fluid on a tissue to clean things (it's very good for removing grease, adhesive or sticky patches left by labels etc) but using on some plastics is not a good idea. If the plastic has a slightly matte or dull finish, wiping with lighter fluid can leave an unwanted shiny patch which is NOT rectifiable.

Question: Are the Macbook/Macbook Pro keys easily removable and replaceable without opening the casing? Does one just tug them or what?
 
I love the shiny look and feel! how do you suggest I get my keyboards to wear down faster???
