Let's say you have cameras that shoot 24p, 30p and 60i and you have iMovie 11 and Final Cut Pro X trial (you know, let's just say ..... lol)

Awesome, thanks.

I do get the warping that people spoke about but have only tried so far with 24p footage.

FCPX won't import avi (but iMovie 11 will lol) but I'll keep messing around and do an export later or something.

1. shoot at highest framerate you can, optical slow mo is far superior to any post solutions.

2. conform footage to project framerate and slow further as necessary, understanding that anything done in post will degrade the image.
