I found this inexpensive case when I had my iPad 2 (whole thread & pictures about it here: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1219987&highlight=khomo) and really liked it. It was thin and functioned perfectly. I've been through 4 different "expensive" cases so far and have yet to find one I liked as much and have returned all but my current one. According to the seller on Amazon it's the same as the iPad 2 version just updated for the 3. This one has the hard back. It seems they also come in colors with the soft back. Not all on Amazon are the iPad 3 versions so be careful if you are looking for colors. Make sure it says iPad 3.

In case anyone was looking for this case for their new iPad (the "2" version sorta fit but the magnet didn't work) this is just to let you know they now seem to be available. Unfortunately it's a 3rd party seller and not "Prime" available but if it is as good as the original one it will be well worth it.

DISCLAIMER: If you're looking for hand sewn Corinthian leather this ain't for you but for an inexpensive & functional case this isn't bad.

Mine was just shipped today. I really liked the iPad 2 version I had and was eagerly awaiting the release of this one. I have had 4 different $70-$80 cases so far and I still go back to this one. None of the others, while nice decent cases are worth that kind of money.
