Now a Family member (kid) was able to open his moms iPhone X. What next. Humorous. Perhaps Apple next year can improve on this as they did with touch ID the first version compared to the second version
 
So, under less than favourable lighting conditions the son was able to unlock his mothers FaceID locked phone. The mother used the lighting in the house, as would any one else. Does the documentation that comes with the phone recommend that you do not setup FaceID in the home under normal light conditions but outside where there is more light?
