Theres flat, and then there is too flat. Change it back!
You may want to go to http://kik.com/
and post your comments there since Apple has nothing to do with how Kik is designed.
I wish it could get even flatter just to irritate people with bad attitudes.
"It's so flat! it's like...my...screen!..my screen is flat why is this app not 3D?!!"
It's like obnoxious 1-star reviews, but on a message board.
At least I don't complain about non-native apps.
this thread was half telling people that theres an update, and half saying that it somehow ruins the effect iOS 7 was going for. I didn't want a circle jerk in this thread.
Looks like you got it.
Thanks for telling me Kik updated! It's about time.
I like it.
Really? The text bubbles still have 'shadows', giving them an elevated look, etc.
It's actually one of the less-flat iOS 7 facelifts I've seen.
EDIT: sorry, I didn't realize there was actually a new update just now
EDIT: still, it's a nice clean look. don't mind it at all.
It's a free texting app, who really cares, I just use it to pick up on chicks. As long as I get pics it's fine with me...lol
Can someone please explain to me why you would pay 2 bucks to have an addon for stickers? Also, what is the difference between a sticker and an emoji icon, which is already on the iPhone?
Stickers are like those animated gif things you see on Facebook they are bigger and kind of cartoony
I can't get it to boot.
That's what I thought. You have to be a bloody moron to pay for bigger emojis.
I can't speak for everyone, but I personally really enjoy the new update from kik. It fits well with the iOS 7 theme. Very nice clean look.
And MacRumors has nothing to do with how Apple works.
Well yeah that's a given but we are in a iOS 7 sub forum. Kik is not a native app in iOS 7 nor is it made by Apple so I don't quite understand who the OP is yelling at to change the design back. LOL
The Kik app has never been too brilliant on any platform.
I'm on board with you there, for sure.
who uses kik? 2 people?
It's quite popular with the twitter crowd in my experience.
It actually looks clean and nice. Not sure why the OP has an issue.
I like it.
