Last night I was in a hurry when starting some laundry, and threw my shorts containing my First Generation iPod Touch (16GB) and my Shure SE-115's. I can replace the Shures because I have a best Buy Warranty, but My iPod is a different story. It is fully functional, but the screen is all blotchy and it looks like there is water on two different layers. (See Attachments.) It is now over a year old and I think I will just replace it rather than try to get it repaired/replaced. Here's what I was thinking of doing. What until Sept. 9th, then pick up either a current gen iPod Classic, a current gen Touch, or a newest gen Classic if the features are appealing enough. Some may ask why a classic? I seriously think that my touch does too much and it really has been a huge waste of time in the past, with jailbreaking, safari distracting me from classes, so on and so forth. Also, not being able to fit my entire 24+ GB library on it really pisses me off. So what do you think? Current Classic, Current Touch, or New Touch? I will be waiting until the 9th regardless.
