New "Helghan" Trailer! A must watch!

- Killzone 2 Beta is in Phase 2 of 3, 3 being a public beta, where everyone doesn't have to rely on an invite. BIG NEWS LOL.

- New MP pics added.

As some (probably not all) of you know, Guerrilla Games has recently released a beta in Europe of their third installment of the Killzone franchise, Killzone 2 for the PS3.(the other two games being Killzone 1 -PS2 and Killzone: Liberation - PSP)

The game's graphics have been so amped up, that a single character model boasts higher fidelity than an entire level in Killzone 1. For more information, click here, and for those of you lazybones who don't want to read up on it, Killzone 2 is pretty much Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare dipped in Gears Of War.

Killzone 1 didn't really get a good review because it was aiming for something it couldn't achieve, and it was the PS2 that held it back from being what it could be (click here for a review)

Killzone: Liberation fared better, with what opened a whole new world of PSP game development ideas, just by simply starting from the ground up instead of just porting a PS2 game. (click here for a video review)

And now GG is back to fulfill their challenge to make the most crazy awesome game ever!

Luckily for you guys, I managed to get some good screens of the beta while they are fresh (only 3 videos on youtube so far!) and it looks to be pretty damn awesome.

Well the codes for the invite only beta were sent out in Europe, but since I'm in the states, I don't plan on getting one until next week hopefully. Trust me this is like the only beta that really matters to me lol.

Yeah well... ;) who's gonna care. You can find a million of these boards across the internet. Trust me I'm doing this because I know some of you would like to know (though maybe not everybody...)

Well this is the closed beta phase, and if they want a decent time to get all the bugs fixed before they release the open beta (which should hopefully last longer that Halo 3's two weeks).
 
Well there are a bunch of new videos being release everywhere that i can't keep track of, and theres that fact that YOU GUYS DON'T REALLY CARE, because i must be the only person here STOKED for it lol.
 
Yeah give it a few more days, but if you don't get in, theres always the OPEN BETA!
 
For you lucky EU players out there, if you download the Killzone 2 Multiplayer theme, you will have a chance to enter the Killzone 2 Open Beta!

US will follow soon after that..
 
yeah hope Qore 7 will have a Killzone 2 beta Qore 6 is Home beta but yeah cant wait for both if they happen

I don't think so, since they kinda tend to to their own thing without the help of Sony.. not that its a third party developer. They have gotten together with the people from sony who REALLY know how to use the power of the PS3.

*** To get into the EU beta, you have a much greater chance if you get the Killzone 2 Multiplayer Theme off of the EU PS store! ***

North America has to wait, but Motherh (Seb Downie, head of the Q & A Department at Guerilla Games) said that they will try to make it happen as soon as possible. He said give it a week, maybe two if they run into trouble. I will post back with some more info on how to get in.

In the meantime, since there are no GG people hunting around these boards for NDA infringements, enjoy this Killzone 2 Beta Review!
