Cannot copy+paste. But screenshots works
I believe that is intentional as part of the DRM.
So I will boycott this piece of *****. Is there no hack?
You can right click and choose highlight, and then you can access your hightlights on the web at https://kindle.amazon.com
You can always run your screenshot through an OCR program.
I think you're looking for a 'workaround,' not a 'hack.' There should be shareware out there now, or soon.
will never every buy a kindle book. That's gross
I don't see it as a problem - I have quite a few kindle books on my iPad. I don't see why not being able to cut stuff out is such a big deal.
Amazon's Kinde and probably B&N's Nook have DRM to keep people from simply copying the whole book.
Yous can copy with another application : "Calibre", freeware.
To do that:
Access to your "Kindle's" ebook library, you can change folder in "Settings" of Kindle app.
Then right click on the ".azw" files and "open with", "Calibre".
After few seconds of importation in "Calibre" just double-click on ebook, and voila.
