Just installed Kismac and did my settings. When i press the scan button it scans but it doesn't list any networks. What could be the problem ?

having the same stupid problem

I got it to scan ONE time out of probably a hundred or so. That time though, it did not get ANY packets of ANY kind, which really pissed me off. I was wondering though, have you found any fix for these incredibly frustrating problems? Any help would be *GREATLY* appreciated!

Thank You very much!

There's a KisMac2 0.3.4 lying around, I think from 2013, with a bit of an updated interface but not a new backend. I've found it unstable and stops scanning after a while.

Neither KisMac 0.3.3 nor KisMac 0.3.4 works with a USB ALFA AWUS036H card, clicking "Scan" does nothing, trying to adjust settings on KisMac2 crashes, and I'm running 10.10.

IGRSoft/KisMac2 on GitHub.

There's another alternative to KisMAC but at the moment I can't recall its name.

… I'm running 10.10.
