KK7DS Python Runtime?

Hi,

In order to run ham radio open source software "Chirp", I've been told that I have to install something called "KK7DS Python Runtime".

I have no idea what it is or how safe it is.

Anyone know?

if it is being linked to from the chirp or a known/trusted developer i would say its ok to install. I'm assuming its installing some sort of library needed to run.
