I'm so proud. I decided to knit an iphone 6 Plus case to practice a new knitting technique.

This is just a sample practice thing. I think I will make a better one next.

Haha iPhone sock!

That's what I've been calling it too.

That one in my post looks rough cuz I was practicing. But I think I want to create one that looks like the Apple Socks from back in the day just cuz. I think it would be funny.

I think it looks awesome, has a lot of character, unlike the millions of mass produced silicon/plastic cases I have seen here. I love the wrist strap.

iSock!

Well done! Looking forward to your next revision.

good start

After a few more practice, you can sell these on etsy! In different colors! Keep up the good work! ;)

I am not a knitter, but judging by the fine yarn used, I think selling it for $100 may net OP almost minimum wage.

You are correct. I used sock wool on thinner needles and it took me a little bit. All the martinis I drank during the process made it even more expensive.

Thank you,

And thank everyone for the encouragement. I have picked out some new yarn to try a new one. In black, not as stretchy with a little shimmer. I'll post pics when I'm done.

MacRumors needs a martini smilie.

Look at this way. Knitters eventually run out of room to store their creations. Selling at any price is reason to justify going out and buying more awesome yarn.

My mom always said, she who dies with the most yarn wins. I cleaned out the closets. I think she got first prize.
