Known battery killers

Yup, I have yet to notice any significant battery drain from using Winterboard on both 3GS & iP4.

For me the the Battery Killers have been keeping Beejive & Twitterrific ruining in the background all day.

Other than that I have 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth, and Exchange pushed at all times, with Winterboard and battery life is good.

Same here. Beejive has been a battery killer for me.

Winterboard shouldn't be draining battery if it's up in the background. Battery drain happens when apps running in the background are still using up CPU but to the best of my knowledge, Winterboard does not. I have WB, SBSettings, Cydia, Lockinfo, etc and I really haven't noticed really any difference in battery drain whatsoever.

A lot of times, it's just perceived. If you keep obsessing over the battery percentage with the idea that the jailbreak is draining it faster, you'll probably believe it even though it really isn't.
