known working linux iso for G5 dual 2.0?

ive tried adele, debian, mint, none of them will boot through the installer. adeile locks up when booting its live, debian wont detect sata controller, and mint wotn boot period.

what version should i go with here?

i have 10.5 and 10.4 on now, i left the start of the drive open for linux

Interesting, any chance you have a RAM issue? Sometimes that will cause the live boot process to crash as it faults while building itself in memory. Also, what exactly is the issue with each of your attempts? More detail would be very helpful.
