    I need some help.

Recently bought a mac mini, the £399 version. Im looking to download kodi but im not sure after reading some other articles. Will it be a danger to my mac and will it run perfectly or is the mac just simply too small.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Why would it be a danger? Kodi (formerly known as XBMC) has been around since the original Xbox and is reputable. Kodi has a stigma attached to it because a lot of people use it for piracy but the actual program itself isn't designed for that.

Your mac mini should be able to run it fine.

Im not sure thats why i asked. I thought it would slow it down loads. Do you use kodi yourself? And if so, do you use netflixxbmc add on?

Are you planning on using your Mac Mini for other things while using it for Kodi/XMBC as well? I suppose if you did both it probably would slow it down, but most who use Kodi are just using the computer as an HTPC and thus shouldn't be a problem....

KODI runs without issues on machines 1/20 the power of Mac Mini, such as Raspberry Pi.

It does run decent as far as local files, but do run into a little bit of freezing and buffering when it comes to add ons. But that is any platform it runs on. TVMC is an unofficial XMBC for mac.
