Hey guys. I recently bought this Koomis CD-Air CD Slot smartphone mount.

I hate windshield mounts... it's too far to reach to control my music apps and for me... living in Arizona... the summers are brutal with the sun beating down inside the car. Anything in the windshield all day gets hit the hardest. This one snugs up inside the CD slot of my factory (or your aftermarket) radio. Since I never play CD's anymore, I am fine with this. It also puts the phone in perfect reach to change tracks. Plus... in some states (CA comes to mind)... windshield mounts are illegal altogether.
Works great with my iPhone 6S. Used it in the past with the Samsung S6 and Moto X Pure I had briefly. Also used it with an iPhone 6 Plus for a while. It seems like just about every major phone will fit into it! Grips the phone with enough force that it will not shake loose. Pretty great deal at $19.99 and Prime shipping!

Now I wish I had a CD slot.

I use an iOttie One Touch which generally works well but there were a few times when I was driving into high elevation when the suction failed due to the pressure change and it tumbled off my dash with the phone in it.

Can't use the ones that latch onto a vent either since I can't close them.
