    Hi all,
up to last month I was aware that other users with old Mac Pros started having KPs after updating to Lion but I always felt lucky since I never had KP after updating to Lion (I have updated from SL to Lion last June).

But now something is changed and I've started getting KP up to 3-4 a day (before Lion don't remember any frequent KP)!

I'm reporting Finder's log for the last KP:
    Code:

The only not officially supported card on my system is the ATI 5870 that is working great...

Do you think that last KP was caused by that com.cisco.nke.ipsec extension?

I'm having the same issue but with an old model MacBook late-2007. My kernal panic looks almost exactly like yours. From what I can find in research the issue has gone on for years with CiscoVPN Client on Mac. Some say when you have VMWare and/or Parallels loaded with CiscoVPN Client and some say just CiscoVPN Client.

I've already uninstalled VMWare, which I thought was causing it. I'm not ready to uninstall Parallels yet. Instead I have decided to uninstall CiscoVPN Client. I don't use it (haven't for years) so no loss to me. I'll post back and let you know how it goes.

For those that wish to uninstall CiscoVPN client, run the following command in a terminal window and follow the prompts.

For reference, here is my kernal panic.

Thanks bacrossland for posting; I've uninstalled the Cisco VPN suff following these instruction the same day I opened the thread.

Up to today I had no KP at all; stay tuned for news about that since in these days I used the Mac Pro less than I usually do.

Thanks Caesar_091. The link was helpful in finding things that were not removed by the uninstall process.

I'm happy to report that my system has been up for two days without a single kernal panic since uninstalling CiscoVPN Client. I hope yours is doing just as well. :)

I can confirm: no more KPs after almost 2 weeks of intense use.

    That's good!
