In the Pacific NW, the Kroger chain of Fred Meyer grocery/department stores is selling iPads.

In the old days, supermarkets sold encyclopedias, so it only makes sense that they enter the market that literally destroyed encyclopedia sales...the laptop/computer/tablet market...
