I purchased my new iPad at Best Buy. I had been told previous to purchase that I would have to take it to an Apple store to be inspected if I wanted to get Apple Care +. I decided to call Apple Care Support. I explained that I lived a couple of hours from an Apple Store and that I am sole caretaker for my disabled husband which prevents me from making such a journey. The rep asked for my ZIP Code, noted the distance being over 100 miles and immediately said they would make an exception. So, I now have Apple Care + on my pristine new iPad. Just wanted to share my happiness at this kindness!
