Kumquat case lighter in person

I just received my 11 pro kumquat case that I was going to pair with the pacific blue iPhone on the way. It is definitely More peach colored in person. I also have a plum case on the way, so we will see if that is better in person. I saw a picture of the red case and it also appears lighter than the website shows.

Makes me wonder how close the color is to the AW Sport Loop Kumquat sport loop band. I bought the case thinking they’d be the same color/tone. Mine will be here in a couple of days so we shall see.

of course! Sorry the lighting is not professional or decent. To tell the truth, I didn’t really care much for the color when I first got it, but it is kind of growing on me. It reminds me of the blue/gray dress that looks different in different lighting...lol. Curious to see later this week how it looks with the pacific blue.

Thanks! Looks much more like what is posted. I might end up being able to return the plum case I ordered after seeing the first image 😀
 
I’m very happy with the color and it’s easy to find across the room.

This morning I realized that in real life the vivid yet slightly pastel color reminds me of circus peanuts.

The Kumquat sure looks great in this video at 50 seconds and again at 6:50


I just order one for the max and pray it looks like to colors in the video.
 
Returned my Kumquat case as I was really disappointed with the orange sherbet tint that predominates. I was so excited by the AW Komquat sport loop, which is just killer, that I thought this case was a sure win also, but alas. Ordered the California poppy in leather as a substitute and love it!

I believe the colors in the video are accurate. Not 100% sure though. I ended up sending my pro back shortly after and now own a pro max. If the silicone cases didn’t have a lip then I might would have gotten one for my max. I currently just own a pitaka air case which I am thinking will be my DD. The only caveat is it likely wouldn’t help in the event of a fall.
 
I’ll be the contrarian; I don’t believe the colors in the video are accurate. I found the Kumquat case to have a much milkier, “orange sherbert” like hue. I wanted to love it, and I had a strong negative reaction when I saw it in person.

BTW, if it looked anything like the video, I would have kept it. It just didn’t. Good luck with your search.
