I'm waiting for the Apple Glasses & AirPower bundle. Buying them separately is going to be too expensive.

I'm more interested in these than a big, bulky headset. But by then, the AI will take a lot of our jobs so we won't be able to afford it.

I don’t think there is a market for Glasses-style devices as they are now, Google has canned Google Glass as well. The technical limitations of high-quality screens, processors and battery just demand a larger and heavier device. This Kuo guy is blowing hot air…

Face it - glasses are annoying. Apples release plan is a joke ... at least they managed to get the iPhone CPU into their Mac Pro lineup. It's just crazy to me how a 2 trillion dollar company is only concerned with maxing out returns instead of moving a tiny bit forward. With Steve we would sit in self driving Apple Car enjoying a AR reality directly projected into your eyes because your most often the only guy in the car ... but hey lets say the tech sector might not be about real innovation anymore.

Maybe this is all a way to kill Facebook. Google was able to ride the wave of the original iPhone by grafting many of the ideas on its pathetic blackberry clone OS it had before the iPhone came out. Maybe Apple is making sure Facebook wont grow to dominance of Apples VR ideas. Google certainly failed with their own already and Microsoft isnt really doing anything practical with theirs other than demos of what is possible. The longer they wait, the worse off all their competitors will be. Plus there probably needs to be some law changes made anyway. I don't see how this tech won't end up with people having better vision in the longrun. We can see how addicting smart phones are already and the effects it has on people. VR done right, paired with Ai, will change things even more drastically.
